Very few artists can boast 20 yrs experience before making their debut solo album, and still be in their 30’s. Vanessa Jade has done just that.

A powerful, honest and fearless singer/songwriter hailing from NSW's South Coast, Vanessa Jade’s captivating voice maybe recognized from past projects such as; Sydney Indie band “Hot Spoke” (Mercury Records); Supergroup "A-Sides Club” (EMI Records, featuring members of Boy n Bear, All our Exes Live in Texas, and Whitlams); Recent collaboration “Caliko” with Paul Greene; Airplay on Triple JJJ, Rage and MTV; Performing live alongside The Preatures, Lisa Mitchell, Kasey Chambers or Sarah Blasko; Festivals including Woodford, Majors Creek, Big Sound, Blurst, Tamworth or Peats Ridge.

Her unique songwriting talents also have seen collaborations with such celebrated artists as Lee Alexander (Norah Jones), Josh Pyke, Nic Cester (Jet), Isabella Manfredi (The Preatures), Toby Martin (Youth Group), Shane Nicholson, among many others.

Embracing her artistry in its purest form, with a swag full of incredible songs under one arm and her many musical talents under the other, Vanessa set her sights on Nashville, Tennessee and teaming up with multi-award winning Australian Producer and Ex-pat, Nash Chambers (Jimmy Barnes, Kasey Chambers, Archie Roach, Troy Cassar-Daley). Having met 20 yrs prior, Feb 2025 saw Vanessa and Nash reconnect to begin making this extraordinary record, combining some of the worlds best musicians from Nashville & Australia, with Rock to Folk influences from Joni Mitchell, early Sheryl Crowe, Pheobe Bridges, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss.
